Femmecult caught up with San Francisco based electronic musician and live performer Cherushii (Chelsea Faith) for an audio interview on the tail end of her September 2014 West Coast tour. A multi-instrumentalist since childhood, she performs live using audio hardware and draws heavily from Detroit techno, Chicago house and classic rave sounds. In this podcast we talk to Chelsea about her history coming up in the West Coast dance music scene, and touch on some of her production techniques and methods for creating her unique sound. Tracks from her latest Queen of Cups EP on Los Angeles based label 100% Silk are featured throughout the interview as well as a few other fantastic singles. Thanks for listening!
